Mesquite is a common wood out here in the Southwest. It has an unknown beauty to it. I never know when I work a piece if Mesquite what the result will be. Such as this two tone with dark Mesquite and white Mesquite on the opposite side. This pen is finished off with a 24K gold hardware.
